MATERIALS

For either bag:

• ¼ yard or fat quarter white tonal
• ¼ yard or fat quarter coordinating fabric for lining and casings
• 2 (7" × 15") batting rectangles
• 1 (1¼" × 13½") strip white sherpa fleece or other faux fur trim
• 2 (7/16"-diameter) black buttons
• 1½ yards (⅜"-wide) grosgrain ribbon
• Paper-backed fusible web
• Template material
• Fabric glue
• Bodkin or large safety pin
• Basic sewing tools and supplies

Additional Materials for Snowman Bag:

• ¼ yard or fat eighth green plaid
• ⅛ yard red dot
• Scrap orange dot
• Black embroidery floss (optional)

Additional materials for Santa bag:

• ¼ yard or fat eighth red with snowflake print
• Small piece light pink tonal
• Batting scrap
• ½"-diameter cover button kit
