MAKE THE MOST OF TOMATOES

This is the last month of real abundance for fruiting crops like tomatoes. Make the most of the plenty by picking regularly and checking under leaves for any hiding fruits. If you haven’t already done so, pinch out the growing points of tomatoes to stop them growing any taller and remove any yellowing leaves – all efforts should now be on ripening the fruits that have formed before cooler temperatures bring the shutters
