I love a Tannie Maria murder mystery, and although the show has gone in a slightly different direction with the main character, the heart is still there. Based on the Sally Andrew novels, Recipes for Love and Murder follows Tannie Maria, the resident recipe developer at the local newspaper. Her career does a pivot as she combines her love of food and her knack for dishing out advice as the new advice columnist. When a woman who wrote to her seeking advice is found dead, she and her colleague, rookie journalist Jessie September, spring into action, determined to solve this small-town murder.
