In the giddy early years of our relationship, my husband Gaz, 41, and I excelled at dates. We frequented restaurants and cinemas, hiked up volcanoes in the Canaries, went wild swimming in the Solent and wild camping in the Black Mountains. Then came the pandemic and a baby, Heli, now one, and instead of being inventive and creative, we got tired and lazy and de-prioritised ‘us’. My friend
