YELLOWFACE: easy on the eye

BUDGERIGARS

BREEDING and keeping yellowfaces is not especially difficult, but there can be confusion. There are two main types: the yellowface we are more familiar with, which is the English yellowface; and the possibly more attractive, and more recently introduced, Australian yellowface, which is sometimes known as the goldenface. English yellowfaces are what the Australians call “creamfaces”.

There is so much confusion that it is best to write about them separately. They are indeed two distinct mutations, although there are considerable similarities.

Quite simply, don't tell us the whole story and yellowfaces pop out unexpectedly.
