Following the runaway success of her first book, The Beekeeper of Aleppo, Christy Lefteri went on to write Songbirds, another mesmerising story about the immigrant experience. Her latest novel, The Book of Fire, explores the aftermath of Greece’s forest fires with her trademark delicate and illuminating style.

Christy lives in north London with her 16-month-old daughter Evie and little dog Alfie.
