Back in the middle of June, there was a National Volunteer Week organised by Volunteering New Zealand out of Wellington. Not an organisation that I was aware of previously, but probably inevitable in a country with a proud record of volunteering. Maybe four-wheeling should get involved and schedule volunteer activities during that week in future years, to raise the profile of our efforts?
