My story
We started renting this house seven years ago. It's owned by my friend Ed's parents and was originally a house share for him and some other friends. Eventually they all moved out and Ed bought his own place after he had children, so his parents were looking for a new tenant. The house was perfect for us, as there are two bedrooms on the first floor and two in the attic, as well as two shower rooms plus an extra living room in the basement where my teenage sons can hang out.
When we first moved in, it was white everywhere, but we've gradually transformed each room with paint, artwork and a mix of new, second-hand and upcycled furniture.
