How can I fix a pixelated picture?

The most common cause of pixelation, which makes the picture on your TV look distorted or blurry, is a loose or faulty cable. This affects live digital channels more than streaming content, because it weakens the TV signal, but it’s usually easy to fix.

First, unplug the coaxial aerial cable that connects your TV or set-top box to the wall socket, and inspect it for signs of damage.
