WINNING LETTER

ON MY way to work I noticed the car behind me filled with three young men in what looked like an Uber. One guy was clearly having the grandest time, singing and dancing in the small space as if nobody was watching.

When we stopped at a traffic light he got the rather bemused looking driver to join in. I noticed other drivers also looking into the car and how everyone – including me – couldn’t help but smile and share in the delight.

It reminded me that there are so many little things that can bring us joy and that genuine smiles and laughter can often be super infectious. They didn’t know it, but I’m sure those young men made a difference in the spirits of those who observed them.
