1 The perfect perch

The advantage of photographing in your garden is the chance to create natural looking sets. Create perches by using clamps, clips and garden canes to position sprigs of holly, blossom or whatever takes your fancy. Place these props close to feeders and water sources, and the birds will naturally land on them before going on to feed or drink.
