It has been a very busy start to 2023, with the International Precision Rifle Federation PR22 (22LR) (IPRF) taking place in Collazzone (PR) Umbria, Italy from 28 August to 3 September. SAPRF has been hard at work running national level matches to select the best candidates to represent South Africa at the championship.
One downside to this was that we began the year with some extremely difficult shoots. James Devine, who took part in the PRS finale in the USA late in 2022, came back with a lot of ideas and match standards. James implemented them in our national matches here and, to be honest, I think we are a bit behind, as the level is really very high.
