Paeroa, the home of L&P, is where I grew up and where my rugby journey began. In the middle of the cul-de-sac at the end of my street there was a small oval field, and that is where I would spend hours on end. All the kids on the street would come together after school and late into the evening playing rugby or touch rugby at the oval. This is where I fell in love with rugby.
