Long-reach hand tools

LONG-HANDLED hand tools have a number of uses around the garden, particularly if you have raised beds. Installing raised beds is a useful way to get around having no usable soil, under trees and where the gardener has limited mobility for access. They are also a solution to a difficult soil, such as dense, sticky clay or where a very high water table makes it difficult to grow at ground level.
