1 Check for broad-spectrum protection
The SPF number on your sun lotion bottle indicates the protection it gives from UVB rays (that cause burning) but not UVA rays (that age our skin). There’s no universal sign for UVA protection – you need to look for a PA+ rating, a star rating or the phrase broad-spectrum, which means it protects from UVA and UVB.
L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Clinical Anti-UV Fluid protects from both kinds of rays.
