Jaipur Rugs has been making the ground beneath our feet a lot more stylish since 1978. This year they took it to the next level with their latest launch at the Salone Del Mobile, 2023. The new range,Tibet, re-interpreted with traditional motifs. “The inception of the Majnun Collection happened about three years ago. Multiple conversations, research on iconic carpet traditions, understanding the craft of carpet weaving, technicalities of different knots and working with yarn swatches to identify colours was the process followed. Each carpet has a unique design approach, which needed its own innovation in technique and design adaptation accordingly,” explains Rajaram, who is the creative director and founder of Pavitra Rajaram Design.
