Beat / Why don‘t you let us know why you built and set up your studio the way you did?
/ For about 20 years, my studio was located in the basement of our house, but then I decided to get out of the haze and into the daylight. I now have a family and am usually in the studio in the evening or at night to produce. Therefore, it was obvious to move the studio to the same floor as the bedroom and living room and, thus, to have short distances. This means I can even get up briefly at night and realize spontaneous inspirations. As for the equipment itself, it was important to have a hybrid solution of music and streaming studio. I am a full-time teacher, but I work at the Landesme-dienzentrum Baden-Württemberg, which means I spend a lot of time in my home office. I also regularly offer online seminars for teachers, in which I teach, among other things, ways to teach digitalIt is important to me that everything looks tidy and structured and I can fully concentrate on my current activity.
