Seeking evidence, experts (above: scientist Dr. Enrico Gennari and conservationist Brian McFarlane) go deep in a bay off South Africa’s southern coast, where great white sharks boasting 300 teeth stalk others. (10/9c) explores whether dolphins or whales will deliberately rescue a human from an attack. The scientific community is divided; the lucky survivors—not so much.
