DOUBLE TOP FOR 2 SEAS’ ADAM AND COTTINGHAM

James Cottingham and Jonny Adam in their 2 Seas Mercedes at Donington Park took their second win in four British GT races this year, and with it stormed to the head of the table. They did it with close to a perfect execution of the two-hour race.

Yet it had to be perfect, as they faced more than one worthy adversary for victory. Andrew Howard led the opening stint, but his Beechdean Aston Martin lost out with a slow pitstop. Then second-placed Euan Hankey in his Race Lab McLaren chased Adam intensely to the flag.
