Siti Aishah Hassan Hasri
FOUNDER, SPOT COMMUNITY PROJECT
Siti Aishah Hassan Hasri set up Spot Community Project in response to her own experience of sexual assault. She trains a team of volunteers to deliver sexuality education programmes approved by Malaysia’s Ministry of Education in public schools and private institutions, with the goal of improving sexual and reproductive health-related outcomes, creating safe learning environments and promoting gender equality. The volunteer-led movement has reached more than 20,000 young people from 129 schools across the country.
Danutcha Catriona Singh
MANAGING DIRECTOR, SOLS FOUNDATION
Danutcha Catriona Singh believes that education is key to moving out of poverty. Her organisation Sols Foundation equips the bottom 40 percent of earners in Malaysia with knowledge and skills through education, training, personal development and employment support. Its 12-month Solar Academy programme readies indigenous and low-income youth for careers in renewable energy. It also ran the Prince’s Trust International Achieve Programme in Malaysia.

Mohd Nizam Abdul Razak
CO-FOUNDER AND CEO, MONSTA
Mohd Nizam Abdul Razak co-founded animation company Monsta, previously known as Animonsta Studios, which is behind Malaysia’s most popular animated superhero TV series, , along with its 2016 spin-off movie. Another of its, was adapted into a movie as well and broke the record for the country’s highest-grossing local animated film. In 2022, Monsta expanded into the metaverse with a partnership with Anomica Brands’ The Sandbox.
