IT'S A BIG PART OF WHAT MAKES SKATEBOARDING SO GREAT, KNOWING THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH FUN YOU ARE HAVING, YOU WILL EVENTUALLY HAVE TO PAY. NOT TOO LONG AGO, JAY RUNCIMAN HAD TO PAY. HE MUST HAVE BEEN ENJOYING HIMSELF A LOT BECAUSE HE WAS OVERDUE. IT WAS TIME FOR JAY TO PAY HIS TICK. THANKFULLY, JAY'S TOUGH. HE'S NOT NEW TO SKATEBOARDING. HE KNOWS THE DEAL. I had to go to the spot the night before and drill out some rivets holding the gutter at the bottom of the roll-in. I thought the gutter would come straight off, but two more bolts were holding it in. We were all there, trying to pull the whole gutter down, and then the cops rocked up at about 10 at night while we were trying to pull it off. The cops were completely fine with it somehow. They said, “Yeah, maybe don't go on the roof there.” They
