Hey, Ben. Have you ever been interviewed before?

No, never, this is the first time.

What about a job interview?

Oh yeah, I’ve done them a couple of times.

How did they work out?

One went well and I got a job at The Unicorn [Bar] on Oxford Street, but I never showed up for my first shift. I kept running into the guy that interviewed me. I see him around all the time now and he just stares at me.

Why didn’t you show up?

Well, when I was doing the trial, I knew it wasn’t for me, but the guy was like, “Do you what the job?” I said that I was kind of keen, but I’d have to think about it. I needed the job but I wasn’t really sure. It wasn’t really me. I was going to go for a couple of shifts and Dustin it. But then they said they sent the roster to me. I didn’t get it, and I was at a party when I got a message at 11pm asking if I was coming in. I just didn’t reply. To be honest, I probably wouldn’t have gone anyway.

Where do you work now?

I work at the Corkscrew Cellars in Darlinghurst, just next to Taylor Square. It’s sweet. The
