For many people, just being out in the countryside, in their own little home-from-home, is all they need – and there’s a lot to be said for the simple pleasure of being in the open air, somewhere scenic.

And while we’re not advocates of trying to duplicate all of your domestic home comforts on a campsite, or spending a fortune on unnecessary gadgets, there are a few touring essentials that we would simply never leave home without.

From making your pitch more comfortable, improving the flavour of your food and giving you peace of mind in the event of a problem, these items are all well worth stashing in your motorhome.
