TOP 10 TOURING ESSENTIALS

FOR MANY CARAVANNERS, just being out in the countryside, in their own little home-from-home, is all they really need - and there’s a great deal to be said for the simple pleasure of being in the open air, somewhere scenic.

However, while we’re not advocates of trying to duplicate every one of your domestic home comforts on a campsite, or spending a fortune on unnecessary gadgets, there are still a few touring essentials that we would simply never leave home without.

From making your pitch a little more comfortable, to improving the flavour of your food and giving you peace of mind in the event of any problem that might arise, these items are all well worth stashins in your caravan.

There is nothing worse than a miserable chair and after your bed, this is probably the second most used item when you are pitched up. So why would you settle for a flimsy plastic perch?
