Plus, given that your brain is 70% fat, the quality determines the quality of brain cells: ‘If you eat unhealthy fats (eg hydrogenated trans-fatty acids found in deep-fried foods) it can contribute to inflammation, while consuming healthy fats (eg oily fish, nuts, avocados) helps reduce inflammation.’
