Take easy exercise

A six-year study of 300 middle-aged and older amateur athletes, looking at prevalence and severity of coronary artery disease, showed that athletes undertaking the most intense exercise had more progression of coronary artery calcification and plaques than those taking less in tense exercise. Another study adds to the evidence that repeated head injury with concussion, playing sports in general, football in particular, are all associated with increased risks of motor neurone disease. More research is needed.
