“Basket blocks have always been a favourite with quilters – who can resist adding another to their repertoire? Traditionally, they are pieced with half-square triangles and set on point. As I’m not a fan of stretchy bias edges, mine are woven together with Flying Geese blocks and include my favourite pressing tips so that their seams nest beautifully.
