BREEDING PROBLEMS 5: eggs and feather plucking

SOME hens can be clumsy and either leave a dent in the eggshell or a produce a hole caused by either the beak or claw. If the contents of the egg have not bled out, the egg can be repaired. This can be done in a number of ways. One method is to paint either nail varnish or typists’ correction fluid (Snopake or similar) over the hole or dent.
