Grist
is published by graduate students in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Tennessee. It includes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, interviews, and craft essays. The magazine is published annually every spring and is published throughout the year featuring emerging and established writers. Open for submissions between 15 May and 15 August. Send three to five poems, fiction up to 7,000 words, or nonfiction no more than 7,000 words.
