FINGER-BAR MOWERS

In the April 2022 edition of TFH, Jo Roberts had a good article about a chap collecting finger bar mowers. There was a good picture with the article of the back end of a Bamford wide-wheeled tractor mower. I’ll come back to that later.

First, when tractors came in, most horse mowers had the pole cut off and a tractor coupling put in. I’ll try to explain to everybody how a mower was pulled
