Go with the flow

Recently, one of my favourite creativity gurus, Keith Johnstone, passed away. I first encountered his work as a young drama student, when his pioneering guide to improvisation, Impro (Bloomsbury, £18.99), was a set text. I loved his philosophy that the key to making anything new was to respond positively to whatever presented itself to you in the moment.
