This series begins with the chic retro space design of the AG01 USB Microphone. Particularly when creating video content, recording equipment is often visible in the picture as well, so having a great look can‘t hurt.
But the AG01 not only impresses visually; its high-quality and robust workmanship is also haptically convincing. The detachable stand ensures a solid stand and flexible alignment. Since it is a standard back electret microphone, it conveniently does not require phantom power, but still offers the sonic characteristics of a high-quality condenser microphone.
Comprehensive features
Equipped with the optimal cardioid pickup pattern for the application, the microphone packs plenty of features into the smallest possible space. It combines DSP effects, a loopback function, flexible input connectivity, and a simple, intuitive mixer for a streaming experience that was surprisingly stress-free in our field test. We connected the microphone to our test computer and an iPad (iOS and Android are supported), connected the headphones, roughly adjusted the levels and could start recording and streaming right away. This is much more complicated for some of its competitors!
