You can never have enough inputs in a hybrid studio. Even with two or three synthesizers, a groovebox and drum computer, in stereo or even with individual outputs, you need a lot of inputs. And if an acoustic instrument, vocal or electric guitar also needs to be recorded, the number of inputs is further reduced. Although external converters can be digitally retrofitted to some interfaces via ADAT and the like, this means more effort, space requirements and synchronization problems. And what about the fact that these converters usually have additional mic preamps that have to be paid for unnecessarily?
16 analog inputs
AudioFuse 16Rig aims to close this gap. Even without expansion, the interface has 16 analog inputs and 12 analog outputs in the form of jack sockets on the rear, optimized for high-level line signals from synthesizers, grooveboxes and the like. Thanks to high-quality converters from ESS, their sound is of the highest quality, transparent and undistorted. The outputs are DC-coupled and are, therefore, also suitable for driving an analog modular system, with a matching analog clock output.
There are also two ADAT connections for up to 16 additional inputs and outputs (depending
