WHAT pops into your head when you hear the word “oil”? Perhaps it’s greasy fast food, car lubricant, lard, pimples or lank hair. It’s a slippery, uncontrollable substance that stains. Oils are acceptable in certain situations (say, on our cuticles or as olive oil in a salad), but it has no place on our faces or in our hair. So why, then, would a woman intentionally rub oil on her face and into her locks?
