1.2 million viable building plots identified across England
C PRE, The Countryside Charity, has discovered that more than 1.2 million homes could be built on previously developed, disused land across England. For its annual State of Brownfield Report, CPRE analysed 344 brownfield land registers and identified 23,000 separate sites that could be utilised for new homes.
