akinley Kate Hargrove comes from a family who has shaped their lives around rivers, chasing the perfect freestyle feature at the perfect moment. At 15, Makinley Kate already boasts an impressive list of accomplishments. She is a former Jackson Kayak Little Shredder and is now a member of their Region Team. Last year, as the youngest athlete on the 2022 US freestyle team, she earned the highest ever single-ride score by a junior woman in an ICF event at the Nottingham World Championships, where she took home a bronze medal.
