Mount Lewis Punchbowl NSW

Australia’s remorseless urban expansion has claimed countless circuits. Originally created by groups of enthusiasts on vacant land far from the nearest civilization, what was once scrub or grazing land soon became home to an ever-growing population.

One such was the Mount Lewis circuit at Punchbowl in south west Sydney, in what is now the part of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown local government. It takes its name from the highest point of the district on Wattle Street which affords good views towards the Bankstown CBD and Sydney
