Fowler falls foul of falling fowl
I was fortunate enough to be out wildfowling on the last Saturday of the season when a small skein of greylag geese came over me at about 30 yards. I shot the first bird out in front then moved on to another and, as I pulled the trigger, ‘’ I came round some time later (I’m not sure how long) in the bottom of the hide with my dog licking me, a dreadful headache and neck pains I cannot describe.
