More than 2,000 flights canceled as heavy snow hits the Midwest

Heavy snow and high winds are causing blizzard conditions in the Upper Midwest. It's the latest stage of a three-day storm that's placed over half the country under winter weather warnings.

Residents of Northern states are hunkering down as heavy snow and high winds are threatening to create whiteout conditions on Wednesday afternoon and evening.
