Want to play your own Tiny Desk concert? The 2023 Contest is now open for entries

The Tiny Desk Contest, NPR Music's annual search for the next great undiscovered artist, is back!

First, let's meet this year's esteemed panel. Returning judges (Tiny Desk series creator and host) and (Tiny Desk series producer) will be joined by five new experts: The inimitable Sharon in 2010 and then at today's Tiny Desk; Baby Rose, who with her incredible voice in early 2020; fellow Sudan Archives, a gifted singer and violinist whose sound pulls from R&B, hip-hop and experimental electronic music and, last but not least, of KEXP, a champion of independent musicians and Latin American music. Each of these judges has an ear for exceptional talent, is passionate about up-and-coming artists and knows exactly what it takes to perform behind the Tiny Desk.
