limey, I realise that I am just about to tick off 40 years with a vintage motorcycle in the workshop. I use the term ‘vintage’ in a slightly loose sense, as, although at the time I understood the whole vintage/veteran date thing, the nearest I could get to a ‘proper’ vintage on my teen savings was a 1935 MAC Velocette.
