What a start to the year it is, with a new game from the Harry Potter universe. It doesn’t star the famed wizard hero, however. It’s set 100-years earlier than the initial books, and uses a deep character creation tool to let you craft your own avatar. You’re a fifth-year student, who is considered the key to beating an ancient secret attacking the world of wizards. This beautiful looking game is an open-world action-RPG, allowing you to not just wander Hogwarts, but other famous locations and a new cast of characters like never before. It’s plenty of fun just exploring. Going to classes, mixing potions, taming magical beasts, looking for secret passages and dungeons, and trying to solve puzzles.
