■ Fabric A: WOFx60cm – outer

■ Ribbon: 1m x 25mm wide

■ Bean bag filling

■ Paper for the template

■ Erasable fabric marker

■ Matching thread

■ Basic sewing kit

NOTES

■ Use a 1cm seam allowance.

■ Template includes seam allowance.

■ Heat to gathered.how/ss-templates to download the templates.

■ RS = Right side.

CUTTING OUT

Step one Print off the template and cut out.

Step two From Fabric A, cut:

Front/Back: Two on the fold of the fabric. Transfer all the marks on the template onto the fabric, these are for joining the gusset.

Inner Gusset: 59x6cm

Outer Gusset: Two 64x6cm

MAKING THE INNER GUSSET STRIP

Step one Fold the Inner Gusset strip in half to find it’s centre point. Mark this point on both the top and bottom long edges. This centre point lines up with the inner centre point of the neck
