Why actors are worried about pending criminal charges against Alec Baldwin for the ‘Rust’ shooting

The decision to charge Alec Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter is stirring deep anxiety and debate among his peers .

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, New Mexico’s First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and special prosecutor Andrea Reeb said they interviewed actors who told them that Baldwin did not follow protocols before the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie “Rust” in October 2021.

“We’ve spoken with several actors, A-list and less than A-list, and all have
