On a wing and a prayer, but the show DID go on!

SOFTBILLS

WELL, what a ride that was! Our third 100% Softbills event took place on November 13 2022. Our normal venue at Risby fell into an avian flu exclusion zone. (More accurately, the exclusion zone boundary actually went through the middle of the car park.)

Our immediate reaction was to cancel the event, but there was a lot of passion around keeping it which came from the traders as well as the breeders and the softbill community. So we switched into top gear and began to work out how we could still make it happen.
