There are several models in HP’s Pavilion Plus 14 range, with the same sleek design but offering different Intel processors and screen types. The model we’re reviewing here, however, hits something of a sweet spot.

First up, it’s powered by a 12th-generation Intel Core i7-1255U processor combined with 16GB of RAM. This makes it a strong performer, ensuring a good showing in both processor – see page 30) does with the slightly faster i7-1260P chip. If performance is paramount for you, we’d suggest the Swift 3 over this one.
