How diary dates can help to pinpoint problems

BUDGERIGARS

FURTHER to my previous articles detailing the importance of keeping records, I cannot stress too much the importance of keeping a diary to record the everyday running of the birdroom. (See Cage & Aviary Birds, November 23 and 30.)

Permanently located in the aviary, we have an A5 diary with one page per week. The obvious entries are show dates, meeting rights, lecture dates and occasions when visitors are to be expected. It is now a legal requirement to record the name and address of visitors to an aviary, for traceability
