OVER THE SECOND lockdown I needed a project to keep me going. I decided it was a great opportunity to revamp the smallish outside aviary shed (approximately 7ft x 6ft) to contain a couple of slim flight cages and a bank of three double breeders.

I stripped it right back, replaced some of the poorer insulation, lined it with 4mm plywood and then lined it further with plastic cladding. Finally, I fitted it out with the aforementioned cage space and cut out a door to allow to access the outside aviary from the shed. I
