She has a degree in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Bachelor of Teaching (Honours) degree. She is currently studying a Masters degree in Literacy. She was inspired to write this story partly due to an assignment she was given for her degree and partly due to a deep-seated love of Tasmania instilled in her during her time there.view less
