TRIBUTES TO MORRIS

JOHN MORRIS, who was the General Secretary of the British Boxing Board of Control from 1986-1999, has passed away at the age of 87.

The much-respected Morris began his career as a journalist, for whom he would write about his beloved Northampton Town before writing for the and United Newspapers. He would return to Northampton in the 1980s, where he worked for the local BBC radio station.
